  1. Have you ever played around with DevonTHINK? If so how do you think the two programs compare?

  2. Hi Michael,

I found this older post when I came to your blog this morning… I’m Lauren from Springpad. Since I saw that you had posted about your experience using Evernote, I thought I’d let you know about Springpad which is similar to Evernote in that you can upload any notes or clip websites and access all your stuff online or on your phone. But, we take it a step further by putting all the info you store to work for you in our free apps. For example, you can save recipes from any website and then have them all neatly organized in your recipe box and then use our free meal planner app to create a dinner plan and a complete list of ingredients. You can also keep track of all your wine notes , keep a list of restaurants you want to try or easily store all your travel plans like confirmation numbers, maps, places to go, etc. You can also set alarms to send emails or text reminders. Other great apps include a budget tracker, a meeting notebook, a holiday gift planner, a date night planner, and other useful tools to help people get organized. Would love to get your feedback or do a demo for you!

    • I’ve signed up and am going have a look around for a week like I did with Evernote. (love the GTD app)Looks interesting at the moment though I have a few big concerns. I suspect just at face value I may do a review on Springpad as it’s is strong where Evernote is weak.

      • Thanks for signing up, Michael! Please let me know if you have any questions about Springpad–I’m here to help. We’re looking for as much feedback to help the product grow, so we’d love to see what you thought in a review as well.

  3. Looks really good! I’ve never tried Devonthink either so I was wondering if you’d given it a go and could report on the similarities/differences?

  4. I’ve already came across with reviews on evernote and it does not fail to amaze me that they’re all good reviews but this one so far is the most detailed and comprehensive.

  5. I haven’t actually had a look at Devonthink popped around the website and am now officially curious with a capital C. I’ll be having a look at a couple of note taking solutions this week and looking at doing a head to head post in a week or so thanks for input. As an avid follower of your blog I must say I was very pleasantly surprised you took the time to comment on my humble start-up. Live long and prosper.
